Chords

Where Were You

(I tune the guitar down a 1/2 step, so these chords are postions - the actual chord values are 1/2 step ie.
"C" = "B" and "Em" = "Ebm" etc.)
C Em, F G
Where were you when I was treated like a criminal
C Em, F G
Where were you when I came to show you how
C Em, F Em, Dm, Em
Where were you when they said I was not believable
F, Em, Dm, G C
And Where are you now
It repeats these chords for the next two verses but the end of the third verse is:
F Em Dm G A (the "A" is new and changes the key to D)
And Where were you when I came to save
For the 4th verse, just transpose these chords up a whole step to D
then the end of th fourth verse is:
G F#m Em A B7 (the "B7" changes the key to E)
And Where are you when I see you . . .
(2nd to last verse):
E F#m G#m A B
Every moment of your day
E F#m G#m Am B
And all throughout the night
E F#m G#m A G#m, F#m, G#m
There is nowhere you could stray
A G#m F#m B C#7
Where you would leave my sight
A G#m F#m B B D
Where you would leave my sight
Then the song changes from E back to D to repeat the first verse.
